Dynamic Projects (Harmony & Retreat Rooms)

Client & Scope

Dynamic Projects engaged Formul8 to support the delivery of the Harmony & Retreat Rooms in NSW. The project required finishes that felt calm, intentional, and respectful of the space’s purpose.

The scope focused on high-quality surface and window applications that would contribute to atmosphere, privacy, and emotional comfort without overwhelming the interiors.

Our approach

Custom Printed Wallpaper

Custom-printed wallpaper was installed across multiple rooms to introduce large-scale imagery and achieve consistent visual coverage. The application allowed imagery to be produced at scale and applied seamlessly across walls within the retreat spaces.

Indigenous Printed Wallpaper

Indigenous artwork was digitally printed as a custom-printed wallpaper application and installed as feature walls within the project. The design was reproduced with clarity and accuracy, forming a defined visual element within the interior.

2-point Gradient White Window Film

A two-point gradient window film in white was applied to internal glazing to create privacy through the central viewing zone. The fade transitions to clear at the top and bottom, maintaining light while reducing direct visibility.

Our Reflection

The completed spaces feel calm and considered, with finishes that sit comfortably within the architecture rather than reading as applied elements.

The wallpaper integrates seamlessly across the rooms, while the window film softens the glazing and introduces privacy without enclosing the space.

Together, these applications show how well-chosen materials can influence how a space is experienced, not just how it looks.
