McCormack & Studio 103
Client & Scope
McCormack, a leading Australian fit-out and building services company, partnered with Studio 103, a Melbourne-based interior design firm, to create a new head office that reflects their shared commitment to quality and innovation. The challenge was to design a workspace that embodies their brand identities while fostering a cohesive and inspiring environment for their teams. To assist with their fitout aesthetic, they sought a signage solution that would seamlessly integrate with the office’s aesthetic and functional design.
To support this vision, Formul8 was engaged to deliver a tailored signage package that not only elevated the fitout but seamlessly integrated with the design intent. All signage was project managed and installed in-house by Formul8, which ensured end-to-end quality control, alignment, and delivery.
Our approach
Illuminated Halo Signage
We delivered eight pin-fixed illuminated signs with a soft halo glow. These striking pieces provide both brand presence and atmosphere, especially in low-light zones like corridors and entryways.
Precision Acrylic Lettering
Individual acrylic letters were fabricated to align with the minimalist architectural lines, offering a crisp, high-contrast finish that integrates seamlessly into surfaces.
Matte Black Acrylic Cupboard Signage
Custom sets of black matte acrylic signage were installed on service cupboards. This ensures operational clarity without interrupting the clean interior palette.
Bronze Precision-Cut Vinyl
Custom vinyl text sets were applied using a bronze finish that echoes the material palette, helping create a subtle but effective look throughout the workspace.
Layered Acrylic Room Signs
Matte black acrylic room signs were paired with bronze 1.6mm text, adding contrast, depth, and a sense of permanence to individual office and meeting spaces.
Laser-Cut Locker Numbers
Laser-cut 1.6mm acrylic numbers were used for locker identification, combining legibility with a refined aesthetic aligned to the rest of the fitout.
Bronze Powder-Coated Floor Plates
Fabricated from 1mm aluminium and finished in bronze powder coat, these floor signs are built for durability while maintaining a warm, premium tone consistent with the space.
