Client & Scope
& Pilates, a boutique wellness studio in Mentone, set out to elevate their brand experience by enhancing visibility, reinforcing identity, and creating a more inclusive and private environment for clients. The goal was to transform both the interior and exterior with visually impactful solutions while addressing key operational needs like privacy, solar control, and compliance. Formul8 was engaged to deliver a holistic suite of design-driven signage, film, and wayfinding applications that aligned with their unique brand aesthetic.
Our approach
Window Applications
To merge brand impact with performance, we applied a three-layered print on optical clear film to the studio’s front glazing. A custom pink digital frost was also applied to side windows, softening the view for privacy without sacrificing light.
Signage Solutions
A custom four-sided lightbox was installed to anchor the brand presence from all street-facing anglesIn reception, powder-coated acrylic signage aligned with & Pilates’ visual identity, balancing visibility with natural light. Exit doors were also custom wrapped in matched vinyl.
Interior Branding and Motivation
Formul8 created and installed custom wall decals featuring & Pilates’ brand values to build inspiration into the studio’s atmosphere. We also replaced outdated exterior branding with a new 4-metre-high banner
Inclusive Touchpoints
We designed and installed custom Braille signage to ensure accessibility and inclusivity within the space, directing clients to key amenities. In keeping with the studio’s sustainable ethos, we re-skinned an existing A-frame board to extend its life.
