Vicinity Centres Hoarding
Client & Scope
As part of the ongoing revitalisation of retail precincts at Vicinity Centres, Formul8 was engaged to deliver a temporary hoarding solution for the upcoming Peter Jackson store. The objective was to go beyond basic construction concealment and instead turn the hoarding into a vibrant, brand-led experience. Our goal was to create visual energy in a transitional space by attracting attention, guiding foot traffic, and maintaining a premium retail feel during the build phase.
Our approach
Digitally Printed Hoarding Graphics
We produced and installed nearly 20 square metres of custom graphics, printed on white vinyl using high-resolution digital output. The result was a visually striking installation that drew shoppers in, while clearly signalling that something exciting was on the way.
Purpose-Driven Design Execution
The design not only aligned with Peter Jackson’s brand aesthetic but also served a functional purpose by improving wayfinding and flow around the hoarding zone. By balancing bold design with utility, we helped Vicinity Centres create a safer, more intuitive retail environment during construction.
High-Quality Material Application
Formul8 selected durable white vinyl to ensure clarity, vibrancy, and longevity throughout the project timeline. Our expert install team ensured perfect edge alignment and clean application to maintain a professional and premium finish across the entire surface.
Rapid Turnaround & Collaboration
We worked closely with Vicinity Centres and their fitout partners to meet tight project timelines. Through seamless coordination and quick production, the hoarding was installed with minimal disruption and maximum impact.
Our Reflection
This project proves that temporary signage doesn’t need to be bland or purely functional. With the right design approach and production expertise, even a short-term hoarding can become a bold brand statement. At Formul8, we believe every surface has potential and this installation is a great example of how to transform a necessity into a visual asset.
