Lavalla Catholic College

Client & Scope

Lavalla Catholic College required a series of custom glass and wall graphic installations that would enhance key learning spaces across the campus. The goal was to improve privacy where needed, introduce calm nature inspired elements and ensure all designs aligned with the architect’s vision. Working with Y2Architecture and McColl Smith Projects, Formul8 delivered a cohesive set of solutions that balanced clarity, function and visual impact.

Our approach

Custom privacy film using our “Twiggy” design

We produced the Twiggy pattern in black on optically clear film with a soft white background to create a clean privacy band that runs seamlessly across multiple glass panels.

Large scale wallpaper production

Our team refined and upscaled the selected nature inspired artwork so it could be printed at a large scale with clarity, colour accuracy and consistency across the space.

Strong collaboration with the architect and builder

We worked directly with Y2Architecture and McColl Smith Projects to quickly resolve artwork quality challenges and ensure the final outcome aligned with the design intent.

Aligning glass and wall graphics into one story

We carefully coordinated the placement of the Twiggy privacy band and the nature inspired wallpaper so the glass and wall elements felt connected. This created a calm, cohesive visual language that supports how the space is used day to day.

Our Reflection

This project reflects Formul8’s strength in turning design concepts into fully resolved outcomes through collaboration, problem solving and meticulous production.

When communication flows and every detail is considered, the result is a space that feels intentional, functional and beautifully aligned with the client’s vision.
