Client & Scope
Formul8 collaborated with SJ Higgins, Rail Projects Victoria, and Gray Puksand to deliver a multi-faceted visual and compliance package for the refurbishment of the iconic Dimmeys building at Sunshine Plaza. The scope included custom glazing privacy films, decal bands, braille signage, statutory signs, and digitally printed OSB feature walls. These elements were designed to meet regulatory standards while enhancing the visual identity of the space, blending function with form across workplace, breakout, and meeting zones.
Our approach
Privacy Window Film
Digitally printed geometric designs were applied to optically clear film, forming privacy bands across glazed office partitions. This solution maintained natural light while offering visual interest and subtle privacy—balancing openness with spatial separation in meeting and work zones.
Statutory Compliance
All statutory signage elements were manufactured to meet code with precision. This included braille on silver acrylic, fire door signage in laser-etched stainless steel, and modern digital prints on Promeg paired with metallic silver vinyl text for a clean, compliant finish.
Visual Identity
Printed OSB panels and room signage were used to unify functional requirements with bold visual impact. Frosted decal bands in satin white added subtle wayfinding cues and branding continuity across breakout, corridor, and entry spaces.
