Flow of Country
Merindah-Gunya describes this design as drawing from time spent on Gunditjmara Country by the river, along the beach, watching the water move, and feeling the deep sense of connection that place holds. Painted during a period of profound loss — visiting Country for the first time without a grandmother to return to — this work is both a tribute and a reflection. It speaks to the way places and spirits remain with us, long after the moments that shaped us have passed.
