Can frost film be customised with logos or patterns?
Yes. Formul8 produces custom frost film featuring logos, brand elements, geometric patterns, safety bands, and indigenous design inclusions — all manufactured in-house at our Bayswater facility and tailored to your project’s exact specifications.
Does frost film block sunlight or just visibility?
Frost film diffuses light rather than blocking it. Depending on the film selected, 37–65% of visible light still passes through — giving you glass privacy without darkening the space. It’s a key reason architects specify it.
Will it damage the glass when removed?
No. Frost film is designed to be removed cleanly without damaging the glass substrate. This makes it particularly suitable for leased commercial spaces where any modifications need to be reversible at end of tenancy.
What's the typical turnaround for a commercial project?
Turnaround depends on project complexity, size and film availability. We provide accurate lead times at quote stage. For most standard commercial fitouts, we can schedule within 2–4 weeks. Urgent projects can often be accommodated — speak to our team.
Do you offer supply-only for trade customers?
Yes. We offer both supply-only and supply-and-install services. Builders, fitout contractors and other trade clients are welcome to contact us for trade pricing and project support.
